Tuition:
Tuition is based on a monthly payment of $80 and is due by the
fifth of each month. Included in the tuition fee:
Weekly half hour lessons
Possible master classes with other students
Recital costs
All other outside preparation

Not included in tuition fee:
Lesson books/materials
Competition/Festival fees

A $5 late fee will be charged if the payment is not received by the second week of the month. No payment credit will be provided for students who miss lessons for any reason. Makeup lessons will be offered if I am notified in advance.

Required materials:
Current repertoire we agree to work on
I encourage you to purchase the Urtext edition of repertoire, however it is not a requirement.

Lessons:
Individual Lessons – Lesson times will be determined by your availability as well as my own and are subject to change with advanced notice. Students agree to arrive at each lesson punctually, well prepared, and with all assigned books/materials.

Master Classes – This is a chance for students to come together and perform for each other as well as being coached in a more formal setting to provide students with performance practice.

Practicing
Here is the recommended practice time depending on the student’s level:
Beginning Student: 20 - 30 minutes per day
Intermediate student: 45 minutes – 1 hour per day
Advanced Student: 1 – 2 hours per day

Attendance:
Lessons may be missed for the following circumstances:
- Illness
- Family Emergency
- Academic or extra curricular event
- Other reasons if discussed with me prior to the lesson

If you plan on missing a lesson you must let me know at least 24 hours in advance. For rescheduling a makeup lesson, if I am not notified before the day of the lesson, no makeup lesson will be allowed. This may vary depending on circumstances.

Provisions for termination:
2 lessons have been missed without notifying me within the course of a year.
4 late payments within the course of a year.
There is a noticeable lack of practicing and effort on your own time, and in lessons.
For whatever reason I feel as though it is not working out between us, at which point a replacement teacher will be recommended.

Miscellaneous
- Summer Lessons will be determined student-by-student, based on their needs and desires.
- The above practicing recommendations, lesson material, and lesson length may vary student to student based on their goals and the goals of their parents.
- If I miss a lesson without warning and am unable to reschedule to an extreme degree, that lesson will be deducted from the monthly tuition.
- If there seem to be any issues you feel the need to be addressed, contact me!
